What is Yogawalla?
“Walla” is just a Hindi suffix that indicates a passionate hobby, a craft, an occupation etc., while “yogi” or “yogini” suggests a more serious or removed lifestyle.
If you’re like me, you love Yoga. But you’re not an aspiring monk or a New-Age hipster. You practice Yoga because it helps you better navigate your modern life.
Anyone can be a Yogawalla.
Yogawalla is all about living Yoga in a practical way - by combining ancient wisdom, modern science and social justice.
Whether you’re a teacher or student, welcome to Yogawalla.

In gratitude for Yoga, I honor the ancestors that kept the practices alive for us even in the face of violence. In gratitude for the land that I occupy, I honor its original stewards, whose struggle continues. In gratitude for the Yogawalla community - I honor each one of you who supports my work and chooses to be a part of the change.
